Underneath Lake Lanier is a formerly thriving Black city that residents were driven from in one of the many Tulsa-like events. I always feel like the lake is on a revenge mission. I’d stay away.

AI will come for jobs. There’s no doubt. It’s just (so far) not happening as fast as execs seem to believe. Once it starts, though, it will be fast.

When we do start seeing major gains from AI, it will simply mean our people can start doing more of their real jobs instead of dealing with administrative & front line nonsense.

Interesting but I think the C-level believes things will happen quicker than they are. My org could gain a ton of efficiencies from agentic AI eventually. But so far, we’re only seeing small gains from gen AI.
