15.02.2026 21:45 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yes, sitting back & profiting off the demise of democracy is a massive issue
15.02.2026 21:44 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0No itโs not but we demonise women for telling off kids in public & idolise men who do the bare minimum as fathers. It should be normal for men to be in tears at child abuse, they are brothers, they are fathers, they are human.
15.02.2026 10:27 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The UK media is refusing to report on the decrease in immigration. The rightโs racist talking points are being amplified with no push back with actual facts. Itโs almost as if they want the UK to follow the US into its authoritarian oligarchy.
15.02.2026 08:55 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I think the word youโre looking for is โchildrenโ. No such thing as underage women.

15.02.2026 08:19 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Itโs not feminine, itโs human, itโs how we should all be feeling. Itโs also terrifying that MAGA does not have this empathy for children.

13.02.2026 22:35 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I think weโre both in for a long wait.
13.02.2026 21:46 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This is sinister. The links btwn Reformโs policies & the USโs extraordinarily misogynistic Proj 2025 are clear. Theyโre spewing the same hateful rhetoric to deny women choice, body autonomy & independence. Gorton& Denton deserve someone whoโll work for all residents- one of their own Hannah Spencer.
13.02.2026 21:45 โ ๐ 7 ๐ 3 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yes. Iโm not convinced regulation works in this case. Can we actually send people to prison? Fines are just adding to their debt. Water is too important to leave it to the whims of greedy shareholders. I think it is probably one of the very few industries we, as tax payers, have to take the hit on.
13.02.2026 21:28 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I agree with you, there is no easy way out. But water is too precious a commodity. At some point you have to stop them polluting our waterways & stealing money from us to give bonuses for failure. Not going to deny itโs a hugely long term plan to realise any profits. It made profit under gov before.
13.02.2026 20:21 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yes & those companies are still paying their employees bonuses as they sink deeper & deeper into debt.

13.02.2026 20:06 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It absolutely should be back in public ownership. Clean water is a human right. Privatisation has proved such a commodity should not be for profit. The water coโs have stolen consumer money to pay dividends for mismanagement & polluting our rivers & seas without doing any long term upgrades. Thieves

This brave woman speaks for millions of British people.
Meanwhile these thugs behave in an entirely menacing manner and nothing is done.
This is election interference by a foreign power. We need to close the loopholes of foreign donations & lobbying.
12.02.2026 13:19 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I get why Matt posts this nonsense every day, outrage pays.
None of this is on the current government.
Open borders? Brexit.
Soft-on-crime chaos? Tories.
Highest taxes since the 1940s? Tories.
Shafted pensioners? Tories.
Farmers driven to despair? Brexit.
Hotels for migrants? Brexit + Tory failure.
When ๐๐ฉ is relieved of his โdutyโ & the transition of power is happening, border officers must stop people like Bondi, Kash, Kennedy, the Trump family, Bannon, Miller etc. from leaving the US. They must be held accountable -you know theyโre going to make a run for a country with no extradition treaty
12.02.2026 09:02 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yes absolutely. These guys create a demon (immigrants) so people will support policies that only benefit the ultra rich & corporations. They get richer while ordinary people get poorer, lose svcs & blame workers who pay more into our tax system than millionaires do.
12.02.2026 08:56 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The mood in Gorton and Denton is clear - Labour have blown it.
Only the Greens can stop Reform.
Reform are ducking debates because their policies donโt add up. Their mgmt of councils is failing. Theyโre blaming immigrants for everything & sowing division as distraction from their support of corps & the ultra rich. Vote Hannah, a local who has skin in the game. Not the rich boy parachuted in.
11.02.2026 14:46 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0@bylines.scot & @theguardian.com sends a warning re the narrative from most of the UK media at the moment. Our NHS, hospitality, transport & food production will collapse without immigrant workers. Reform &Tories are peddling lies to distract from billionaires decimating our svcs. We are not America
11.02.2026 07:36 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Unlike Trump, Farage does not have executive power. He cannot wield the same bully pulpit. Instead, he becomes the junior partner to voters' clearest symbol of instability and is left stranded. Farage cannot defend the indefensible, but nor can he convincingly break with a figure he has spent years praising. Nigel Farage's friendship with US president Donald Trump could cost him dearly (PA Media)
โThe more Trump dominates the global agenda, the better Europe looks and the harder it becomes for Farage to argue that his brand of politics would make Britain safer, richer or more secureโ
Well yes. The longest - FFS, wake up! - call to British voters everโฆ

Omg pot & kettle. Kemi saying Keir & Labour Party donโt take responsibility for terrible mistakes?! Iโd like to point her in the direction of the previous 14 yrs of conservative rule that nearly broke our country.
