This weakens us as a nation, full stop. There is no exchange for some perceived benefit. No justification was given by the administration other than some vague words about concern for American finances. This makes no sense, if you're trying to protect this country.

The FDIC cuts are the most worrying yet. There is no rational justification if you have a child's understanding of the country's banking system.

It is 100% funded by the banks. No taxpayer funding is saved by their dismissal. It was already understaffed, no efficiencies are found by doing this.

I mean, we clearly agree on that last point. Pelosi might have been spkr but she didn't act or set the agenda alone. I don't believe for a minute she had the whole caucus in total lockstep. The Dems might not be Leftists but they're still a herd of cats.

If you don't think the left's complacency cost us Roe after decades of opportunities to enshrine it in law, or that the Dems complacency left us with a polarizing candidate who got caught flat footed by Trump, or that their complacency in reaching out to particular subsets of voters didn't have...
