How's that peace deal working out again?

Found the fascist!

Is that what you wanted to hear?

Seriously, dude, go outside. Not everyone's a fascist, but fascists are fascists. If they literally do the same things as historical fascists, you don't get to be mad they get called fascists. People who do things fascists do are fascists.

Reduce the risk by getting vaccinated.

Numpty.

Jeffrey Epstein is a name that should be forever associated with Donald Trump. In 10 generations, mention of Trump's name should be followed by "the US president brought down by his close association with serial pedophile Jeffrey Epstein".

No one should ever forget their intimate friendship.

HAPPENING NOW: Aerial coverage of protesters marching peacefully in LA to protest ongoing ICE raid operations and Trump’s federalization of the National Guard

Reporter: β€œWhat we’re looking at right now is a quiet, organized group and demonstrators marching peacefully to their destination.”

And though we clearly align in some respects, I would never trust someone who values feelings over truth, because that is the province of my fascist enemy.

And I think when you blame people for the things they didn't do, instead of the things they did, it weakens your argument needlessly, and it alienates potential allies because it shows you don't care what's true.

The Democrats have all kinds of sins you can roast them for, light em up.

And I'm right there with you. But this is a conversation about the schedule.

The republicans have the power to control the schedule. Blaming the democrats for the schedule is nonsensical.

Wowzers. You had better have been drinking when you thought that was good work.

This weakens us as a nation, full stop. There is no exchange for some perceived benefit. No justification was given by the administration other than some vague words about concern for American finances. This makes no sense, if you're trying to protect this country.

The FDIC cuts are the most worrying yet. There is no rational justification if you have a child's understanding of the country's banking system.

It is 100% funded by the banks. No taxpayer funding is saved by their dismissal. It was already understaffed, no efficiencies are found by doing this.

...essentially offered readmittance if they would post up the cash for a visa to get in. It was basically a big cash grab. And of course, not a single employer was ever punished for employing undoc'd workers.

As ever, just another way to exploit labor.

You should look into Operation Wetback back in the 50s, which is the model for his proposed operation. Apologies for the slur, but that's literally the official fucking name of the cursed thing.

Agricultural and food service workers were rounded up, deported, then...

Bernie never pushed for Roe either, though, and quite frankly the whole of the political left was quiet on Roe for years. I know there were voices pushing for action, but they were an ignored minority.

I mean, we clearly agree on that last point. Pelosi might have been spkr but she didn't act or set the agenda alone. I don't believe for a minute she had the whole caucus in total lockstep. The Dems might not be Leftists but they're still a herd of cats.

If you don't think the left's complacency cost us Roe after decades of opportunities to enshrine it in law, or that the Dems complacency left us with a polarizing candidate who got caught flat footed by Trump, or that their complacency in reaching out to particular subsets of voters didn't have...

Complacency ain't sexy.

Getting comfortable cost us Roe, the next couple of decades of SCOTUS rulings, a few hundred thousand preventable covid deaths, and our international credibility, to name the low hanging fruit.

Might not be as hard as you think.

Again though, the alarm bells are warranted merely for the damage Trump does that you and I already agree he's doing. The walls he's tearing down keep worse things than him out.
