Our mouse team left the Isle of May a few days ago after a very busy and successful winter season, arriving back to a festive looking Anstruther - very different to when we left mainland at the start of November. Thanks to @steelyseabirder.bsky.social and Rab and his boat crew for terrific support

We have been out for our Christmas meal and festive darts today - and we had a lot of fun!

Fantastic visit to Lancaster University last week - lots of interesting science discussions and a wonderful power hour with PhD students and post docs. And delighted with my Lancaster University honey!

Looking forward to speaking, meeting staff and students, and taking part in the Lancaster “power hour”. Been working on my talk today - expect stories of worms and ecological immunology!

Some of us have come off the island for a break - one day later than planned as high winds meant no boats could sail. Before leaving we had a pub quiz in the Isle of May “bar”
