O'Brien was careful to state she was not making any accusations herself, nor would she be making any investigations into the claims - but this did not stop her from openly posting unsupported accusations alongside allegedly incriminating photos of Doyle's child, demanding the..

Especially galling for the accuser, as they had been hinting online some months prior to posting his accusations; that he "had the goods" to "bring down the MP", "if not the Green Party itself!"

The accusing tweets failed to fire outside their reach & chatter soon blamed the "woke" media for ignoring" this story! Indeed O'Brien herself said she felt sorry for the accuser. He'd been shopping his "dossier" to journalists for the good part of a year & nothing had come of it

Green MP anonymous accuser, Holyhekatuiteka @2ETEKA aka Rhys Williams, 1 December 2023 posted on X a tweet and an image, the tweet reads, "Here's a remit @MKorero and helped me and others with ... and it ended up policy and ended up in the coalition agreement." In the image is the NZ First, William's authored remit to remove relationship and sexuality guidelines from NZ schools, it reads, "Remit 23: Ensures the removal of all gender, sexuality, and social ideology from the school curriculum, and return to basic sex education at the appropriate age. These issues are the sole responsibility of the parents and caregivers, not of teachers and an education system. Children should be in school to be academically educated not to be sociologically indoctrinated." At the time of posting this thread, neither Williams or NZ First had made this information public.

If he had any genuine concerns, Peters could used the opportunity to be a statesman about Williams' accusations, and sought a more measured discourse in the House; but instead he chose to lean into the social media hysteria of anonymous accusers, and run with O'Brien's framing as Williams' accusations were due to a complicit woke media who had not jumped on Williams' 'so-called 'dossier' on Doyle. The NZ First leaders' actions are as repugnant as those of his RSE policy writer. Women Rejecting Alt-right Transgender Hate (#WRATH) is calling on Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and Education Minister Erica Standford, to halt to the draft RSE consultation process that is currently underway and immediately re-instate a return of existing guidelines to the Ministry of Education. It is utterly appalling Doyles' very existence, mahi, mana, and whanau have been trampled like this. I do hope they are being supported to use every law available to them to seek remedy from the many unfounded hateful claims made by RSE slayer Williams and his many anti-transgender enablers and funders. When unhinged conspiracy passes for normal political discourse, we and our democracy are in very dangerous territory. New Zealand Police * need to investigate NZ First, its board and its leadership, about their links (or not) to Williams' and New Zealand's network of anti-transgender groups masquerading as a women's rights movement. Like Williams, Claridge also says Doyle's Instagram was littered with "well known paedophilia communication symbols". Their claims weren't my first rodeo exploring so-called "well known" claims made on social media, such as the nappy brand "Huggies", caught up in Q-Anon child sex trafficking conspiracies a few years ago, so I was able to quickly dismiss Williams' claims against Doyle as being similarly unhinged and dripping in conspiracy. Apart from their own alternative reality opinion pieces, anyone would be hard pressed to find anything on a Google search that suggests the now infamous 'blue cyclone' emoji was a "-well known- symbol of paedophilia". Spoiler alert it is not. Just like Huggies were not running a covert paedophile communication ring via printed symbols on their disposable pants. In a democratic country like New Zealand, Doyle had every right and expectation as an Opposition MP holding governments to account, that their voice would be heard free of political interference the true essence of free speech. 9/11

Claiming certain issues and positions as centrist politics when they are clearly not, is not democracy, it is political and cultural gas lighting. Penny Marie Claridge, who founded 'Let Kids Be Kids' in 2023 is a prime example. Despite a 2022 review finding the 20-year-old RSE program saw the curriculum was well received by parents and students alike, Claridge, through her regular interviews on Reality Check Radio and The Platform, likes to posit the opposite. Her educational propaganda suggests parents are only okay with RSE of the past, because they don't know what kind of "rainbow ideology" schools are teaching. Except a 2022 review of the guidelines suggests it is Claridge who is misinformed. NZ parents are aware, and many parents discuss the curriculum with their children, but this did not stop a TVNZ journalist platforming Claridge and her allegedly "centrist' position as a 'spokesperson' for parents 'concerned about RSE'. 8/11

To that end these groups and their supporters readily make made wild claims about gender diversity and inclusion and advocates for, such as 'Rainbow Youth' and 'Inside Out' are "radical groomers" pushing a "rainbow agenda" onto children, and our educators were complicit enablers, 'sexualising' innocent children through the RSE curriculum. Really? Are parents the nationwide worried about 'Rainbow Youth'? Absolutely not. But if you spend all your waking hours online, cultivating a profile and a platform and a funding stream suggesting that it is, it can get easier to convince a vulnerable, naïve or already primed mark they should be. Local groups and entities readily platforming these views as being the views of 'middle New Zealand' include Speak Up for Women, Women in Sports, Family First, Mana Wahine Korero, Let Kids Be Kids, Free Speech Union, Destiny Church, New Conservatives, NZ First, The Centrist, and blog 'BassetBrashAndHide' to name are few. 7/11

Jaw lines will be studied and measured for angular profiles, and thighs and height ratios studied for 'masculine' portions. Although O'Brien can claim some moral high ground as she says she redacted then removed the images the Williams was alleging were "problematic" from her Substack piece, she did little to redact the images source. For some years now I have watched as a smattering of political parties and people, including Williams, O'Brien, Chantelle Baker, Bob McCroskie, etc, openly court the people who operate in these online spaces, where mundane reality is not a good enough explanation of anything, where sensational leaps of logic were preferred. Many of New Zealand's anti-vaccine, anti-mandate voters, evangelical, Pentecostal Christians, along with alt-right and conservative politicians and their supporters, readily shifted their focus from fighting public health measures to fighting progressive politics. These were people who had an agenda to push, and like Voices for Freedom and others during our Covid response, they just shifted their focus to another issue, burying differences and bridging their prejudices under a conveniently useful anti-transgender umbrella. 6/11

O'Brien did have a coming to Jesus moment a few days after she amplified William's hit job on her Substack (while whining about media (ps O'Brien is a columnist for the NZ Herald, she literally is the media)), asking people to consider removing any photographs of Doyle's child they may have put online, after another X user had suggested her and Williams' hit job had had it's 'desired effect, and photographs of the child no longer needed to be online. Except this was a little bit too late, by then photographs of Doyle's tamariki were well and truly everywhere across social media accounts and anti-transgender social media networks. In the days to come, many accounts online, including many from New Zealand openly began 'transvestigating' these images - now that's some 'slang' people should be discussing, not 'bussy' the in-group slang of consenting gay men! Transvestigating is a portmanteau of 'trans' and 'vestigating' from the word investigation, where people or groups, decide via photographs whether a person (or in this case a child) is 'transgender'. They will do things like circle a fold of material in a 'crotch' and claim that it shows the outline of a 'penis' or 'balls'. 5/11
