No hum in the audio.

The sound is nice too. It does have a hum in the casing when sound is off. I'm thinking the main caps might be dry.

NAD 7120 Stereo Receiver from 1983. Fixed the dead radio. Blown transistor replaced supplying 12V. A nice feeling to be able to bring it back to life after 30 years.

I found a problem behind the 12V regulator.

Nice setup. The front of the 520AE look similar to my father's 1500AE. He is a bit disappointed that doesn't have a loadness button. It sounds flat on his speakers. I might mod it for him.

Aaaand it works again. Re-flowed solder joints. Replaced output transistors. Adjusted quiescent current.

Re-assembling the stereo amp after fixing it. It's a puzzle to put the boards together with wires and screw.

Remember when we didn't have arduino ide, and the first task was to make a blinky? 😅

My C64 keyboard PCBs just arrived. I was so excited, that I have cut my thumb, when I opened the package. The small pcb is for making it possible to use a ribbon cable as keyboard cable without crimping.
