I checked again. I didn't show the original tap wav in the video, i just explained that I could not hear it and then show the freeze dump one, where i could hear something. But I'll give it another try, on a real tape.

I did. And I could not hear it. Maybe the data was crunched. But i could hear it with dumped memory (decrunched)

I have researched it for a future YT video. It does work. Sometimes it only works if I load it first, dump RAM to tap via final cartridge.

Lower the volume. Kung Fu scream and datasette noise. Sped up. Pretty sure this is the sample. Location on tape and spunds distinct from the the other data.

Teste TapeDump64. Works oerfectly. Now I'm waiting for Tapebuddy64, which can also write to tapes.

I tried a tap file pf The way of the..fist. tried listening at 5x,. I didn't hear it. Maybe the binary was deflated/compressed.

That is interesting. There are some TAP tool that can convert to WAV files. Could try that in audacity.

No hum in the audio.

The sound is nice too. It does have a hum in the casing when sound is off. I'm thinking the main caps might be dry.

NAD 7120 Stereo Receiver from 1983. Fixed the dead radio. Blown transistor replaced supplying 12V. A nice feeling to be able to bring it back to life after 30 years.
