For years we've heard from the right about "welfare queens" and other so-called "freeloaders" pulling one over on the government.

But actually, it's the wealthy who are the real freeloaders — pulling one over on us all by skirting their taxes.

Where is the outrage over that?

Moderna withdraws application for COVID-flu combination vaccine Moderna said on Wednesday it has withdrawn an application seeking approval for its flu and COVID combination vaccine candidate after discussions with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

This is absolutely terrible news.

With the shifting regulatory climate (i.e., antivax ratfuckery), Moderna has withdrawn their application for their eagerly anticipated COVID-flu combo vaccine. This vaccine offered better protection than getting each shot separately.

Republicans are spreading the same old lies about Medicaid work requirements. Here are the facts:

-The vast majority of Medicaid recipients who can work are already working
-Work requirements do not increase employment
-Access to affordable healthcare, like Medicaid, does

Know the truth.

Trump's budget cuts:

-$4.5B from programs for students in high-poverty schools
-$49M from the Ed Dept's civil rights office
-$26B from state rental assistance
-$4B from low-income home energy assistance
-$20B+ from the CDC and NIH

All to give the rich another tax cut.

Trump's budget calls for a 22% cut that would hit the CDC, NIH, FEMA, EPA loan programs aimed at protecting drinking water, and much more.

All to finance giant tax cuts for the rich.

Oh and Trump is proposing a record $1 trillion military budget.

"Fiscal responsibility."

Senate Republicans voted to kill an EPA rule limiting the seven most hazardous air pollutants emitted by chemical plants and other industrial facilities.

Inhaling even small amounts of these pollutants can cause brain damage and cancer.
