Regardless I think you can use symbols for generic services regardless, like the restroom symbol or a fork and spoon for a restaurant. If it doesn't have a themed name then the symbol provides the same amount of info that "RR" or "Snack" does but cleaner.

Honestly they both have their merits. I like the clean and professional look of the keynotes and legend but the labels directly on items is more user-friendly/requires less scanning and decoding. I'd also want the legend to not obscure any parts of the drawing if possible, as it does in the example.
