I teach rhetorical skills in all of my classes and lately I’ve been making TikTok’s about them and people seem into it.

Any particular fallacies, types of bias, or strategies you’d think people would benefit from?

(Trust me, I have my own list, I just value input)

Most aren’t, but also… this feels a lot like grading.

It seems people like to fight about the truthfulness of those things. 😐

“In The Afterlight,” the third in The Darkest Minds Trilogy, really needs to get moving. It’s been a few hundred pages and while I’ve loved these book, we have to get cooking here. 📚

Switch to “Murder, She Wrote” and only watch the Cabot Cove episodes. Murder capital of the world, but so pleasant.

I haven’t bought a book to read in years, I just use whatever the school library has so my students always have at least one copy of something available.

Just finished An Absolutely Remarkable Thing and A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor by Hank Green and this is the exact kind of fun I’ve been looking for since Ready Player One.

Didn’t learn any life lessons—just fun. I loved them both a lot.

I really hope my school district moves their activities here. This place feels a lot more pleasant, like a zephyr (that’s a word I’m trying to use more).
