Extremely depressing signing. Quite amazing that after all the time they've had for planning this season the best striker they can sign in the whole of world football is a washed up permanently injured player who was quite good 4 years ago. I know he's free but his wages are probably high. #LUFC

He's scored a total of 12 PL goals in the last 3 seasons. I don't get why Leeds think he's suddenly going to become the player he was 5 years ago again.

We're not going to score many goals in the Premier league with that team. The forwards are unproven in the prem and there's very little creativity in the midfield. But I'm sure we're not finished in the transfer market yet so hopefully they'll get some quality forwards in.

we better hope Gudmusson is never injured. Byram wasn't even good enough in the Championship, the likes of Salah and Saka will be licking their lips.

Time will tell whether or not Sunderland were right to pay that amount. But the fact Leeds wasted time on two bids for him that were so far short of his eventual price make me wonder about the know-how of the people doing our transfers.
