Our study neatly shows how the dynamics of mental health can be studied on a day-to-day basis, wherein interesting directional effects of cognitive processes on mental health symptoms can be uncovered!

This paves way for using symptom tracking to design effective just-in-time treatments 🧠

Using daily gamified smartphone 📱 tracking, we found that reductions in both self- and decision-making confidence precede when people are likely to report experiencing symptoms of OCD.
