If Kevin’s parents had done their job and disciplined the older brother (Buzz) then none of the events of the first two films would have happened. Guess they were more concerned with whatever their careers were than with what was going on with their children.

For the first time in almost two years I don’t have a backlog of work with pending/impending deadlines. Part of me literally wants to just sit next to a sunny window in a coffee shop with a good book.

Anytime I see people in my profession parroting R talking points I know tthey’re either (1) bad at the job or (2) don’t give a shit about their clients. You can’t support a party that uses the government to hurt, starve, and terrorize people and then say you passionately fight the government.

Calling it now. Either republicans will panic and change course after yesterday’s shellacking or they’re going to refuse to budge and the government will be shut down until the midterms.

I think there’s a difference between the threats most imagined and the blatant government coercion going on right now. Even ten years ago it’d have been unimaginable to most. But here we are. And SCOTUS will rubber stamp it so now there’s a whole lot more “complying in advance.”

Doing a rewatch of the Boys and I’ve got two observations:
1) the Trump/Repub parallels are STRONG (especially in S3)

2) the most emotional part of the show for me is Frenchie and Kimiko’s journey. They deserve a happy ending together more than anyone else.
