I love how my most recent batts are spinning up . I grew up on the south shore of Nova Scotia and am inspired by the often foggy wild coast where the evergreen forest meets the granite rocks and white sand beaches

Loki and I carded 23 batts today while the snow blew around outside ❄️🐈‍⬛🧶🐏

21 batts carded on this stormy day. Happy to stay inside 🙂

When it is really cold I sleep beside the fire and keep it going all night ❄️🔥❄️

Today I carded 18 batts ,I was going for a foggy coastal northern vibe. My drum carders are from Holland and Canada. My spinning wheels are from Canada, Poland and New Zealand.The wool is purchased from companies in Britain and Italy . Can’t wait to spin these 😃🐏🧶

Not sure when/if I will feel comfortable coming back here for many reasons

At this point I have five CPW’s all working and all different makers . I have a couple antique saxonies , an Ashford traditional from the seventies and 2 other vintage Ashford wheels which I bought new 30 years ago.
Also a Kromski Polonaise and Mazurka 😆😆😆😆
