Halloween :D

Sheriff Dale Abernathy and teen Onion Pendergrass approach a blue house on a gloomy day. Dale: ok Will, look sharp. he knocks on the door someone beyond the door: Hold on for just a second! Dale coughs while they wait, but Onion looks off into the yard, where many ghosts linger in the distance surrounding the tombstones out by the treeline. Dale tips his hat back: Some house, huh? Whoever built this sure had some scratch! you heard of the waylon mine? Onion isn't listening. Onion thinks: There's a lot here. is it cuz we're so far in?

a large man with red hair and overalls opens the door. George: howdy, sheriff abernathy! this the kid you said? dale: yes indeedy! william frost pendergrass. this is he! say hi, will. Onion says nothing, but he has a black eye that radiates purple. George: whew! that is some shiner, sonny! hope you're not afraid of getting dirty! ha hah! oops, looks like you got that one covered. We got one of your type here already, you're gonna fit right in. I'm george, you'll be working with me. welcome to the blue house! come on in, I'll introduce you to the owner. Onion scowls, remaining silent.

they walk through the interior of the house-- an old and rotting victorian mansion, the inside painted mostly blue. the wall is peeling and detritus is everywhere. George: sorry about the mess! well, I guess that's what you're here for, huh sport? ha ha ha! George turns to converse with Dale, Onion lagging behind. George: the damn house got built in 1876 so you know it's all fucked up inside! been here six months and barely made a dent! Dale: yall got any pest control issues? termites? George: ohhh, rats? cockroaches? this and that! no wood borers though, thank god. Onion stops at the sound of whistling and looks through an open door into another room.

The geometry of the house briefly bends out of reality, and Onion finds himself staring down a long corridor full of black doorways, at the end of which a blue ghost of a teenage girl is seen stepping just off scene. Dale smacks Onion's shoulder, bringing him back to reality. Dale: C'mon, trouble. Onion looks back, but the corridor is gone. Only a single room remains.

"[South Asian + Southwest Asian Features] Please note this is not a comprehensive list! but rather a compilation of what I have observed while drawing and within my own family. I am punjabi, most punjabi people are from north India + Pakistan and so they have both South Asian and Southwest Asian features. Because of this, we can look very diverse! (the image shows two faces with varying features and a check mark next to both) Both arew punjabi. The left has more southwest asian features while the right has more south asian features.

[Deep-set eyes] (The image shows a set of eyes, one with double lids and one with triple lids. An arrow points to the triple lid.) I have this one. Many SA + SWA people have naturally deep-set eyes. This results in very prominent eyelid creases above AND below. Deep set eyes are also called "hooded eyes" because the upper skin tends to droop down over this space. (A comparison drawing is shown of a face in side profile with shallow set and deep set eyes. Another diagram shows the eyeball in the socket and the skin around it with the fatty upper eye area puffing out slightly.)

Colours. A palette of colours is shown in a row, next to them are the labels "skin, eyes, hair". Below is a table of eyes and eyebrows displaying various combinations. Three are labelled "My dad" "My cousin" and "Grandma (Dad's Side)" respectively. The next row says "More examples I have seen." Although dark brown eyes are the most common, other eye colours show up too.

[hyperpigmentation] Hyperpigmentation is when areas of skin are darker than the rest. Many SA + SWA people experience this, those with light AND dark skin, especially around the eyes in the form of dark circles. (An illustration shows eyes with and without hyperpigmentation.) Because many people already have deep set eyes that are shadowed, the result often makes the surrounding eye area quite dark. A lot of comments about if I sleep enough or that my stare can be a little scary or just a bit intense. (A diagram shows eyes labelled "bare" and "applied", one without any makeup and the right with black makeup in the waterline.) Traditionally wear black eyeliner (surma/kajal/kohl) for special occasions or as a medicine.

I get the “you have to be weird” bc that’s true and valid but I also need people to treat sex and sexual content like it’s NOT weird. The weirder you act about it the less likely people are to share or discuss it for fear of being ostracized so like…what I’m saying is normalize weird I guess??
