Listening to my Spotify wrapped most played songs: “Yeah… it was a rough year…”

We’ve only done a couple since we lost our last drummer in 2020. I think we finally have a new guy who’s gonna stick, so hopefully back to shows in a few months - writing some new songs and really liking what we’ve got going. 🤞🏼

As we enter the last month of what has been incredibly rough year, I’m looking for ways to make December enjoyable. What should be on my to do list for Christmas time in Utah? Drop your favorite activities, movies, etc.

Might need to go tomorrow and hope I’m mostly good by Monday evening. I’m working so little this month, I need to try and avoid missing any more work. Sending good vibes your way!

@getsit.bsky.social @markrussellpereira.bsky.social and @nbasarah.bsky.social have been great for Jazz stuff over here. I know there are others. Pop on during a game, conversation seems to pick up then. Should really find one of those group things to get more active people on my feed.

Over here I’ve had to deal with zero bots, zero people being argumentative dicks just for the sake of it, no ads every other post… The vibes are so much better.

And people were like “but my friends!” as if that excuses the lack of principles. Sometimes I miss the large network I had, but I’ll take quality over quantity every damn time.

This may be stupid, but for years I’ve wanted to write a holiday song. The last week or two I’ve been working on one and I think I almost have it finished, which is kinda cool. Not sure anyone will ever hear it, but I’m enjoying it.
