They need to fund a lot of the smaller grants, many of which are submitted by earlier-career researchers. But I wish they would not associated "early career" with "young." Don't age-discriminate! Many "early career" people are doing science as a second and third careers. Or, bloomed late.

If making stuff up and imagining different realities is his jam, then let him do it. But let's not base scientific policy on his creative musings. NIH needs to be about real things, not fiction.

That College is one of the best in the nation. In the world. The depth and talent of the teaching there is world-level amazing. Oh and guess what. Liberal Arts graduates from that College become doctors and lawyers at unbelievably huge rates. Why? It teaches humanity, story-telling, beauty. 💚 💙 💜
