What's interesting about nuclear reactors in space is that they're heat engines and a vacuum is a great insulator. No conductive or convective cooling can work, so you need enormous radiators for a relatively modest amount of power.

A midtown waterfront district sounds wonderful. But the city just permitted a giant, 40 acre distribution center on the water, a quarter mile from BART, right at the very center of this map. They are building it right now. Maybe that wasn't a good idea.
