Can anyone on #booksky help me. I read a book years ago (pre 2005) from a dog or cats pov and it was somewhat post apocalyptic. There was a part where they tried to open a fridge and drank what I'm assuming was radioactive water. Also tried to get into a shop?

Started it yesterday, finished it today at 00.23. It's my first read of folk horror and won't be my last! Absolutely loved it and obviously have questions about where a certain someone may be!

Just finished Project Hail Mary and now feel the void of having read something amazing and it's now done.

How fucking good is Project Hail Mary?!? I have had the absolute best time reading it and even shed a little tear at points. Amazing book 10/10

I did that today. Went from shoulder length to pixie. I feel so free from the shackles of blow-drying!

Could you possibly do a thread or piece on where is best to buy so that authors get more of the share of money? I.e if they got less from kindle I'd rather buy paperback or from their personal site if that makes sense?

The best part is that because all the effects are pretty much practical it holds up so well even now. Might even have to have a little watch of it today.

I actually cannot stop reading. I'm addicted. Burning through a book every 3 days depending on length. At least it's a semi affordable addiction.

So I have been AWOL as I've been sorting out my MSc application. I now need my personal statement to be written and a reference and I'm ready to submit. Any tips would be welcome. I'm nervous!

I've seen quarantine and it gave me the creeps (as it should) and I've been scared to watch the OG because I know they're scarier 😱 I'll have to bite the bullet!

That scared me to death when I was young, I thought Charlie was going to get chopped up!
