DHS Agreement Reveals Risks of Using Social Security Data for Voter Citizenship Checks A recently released agreement gives the Department of Homeland Security access to hundreds of millions of Americans’ Social Security data. It contains alarmingly few provisions to ensure accuracy and privacy, experts say.

NEW: DHS used to only have information on immigrants who’d had contact with the agency.

Under a new data-sharing agreement, the system added information — including full Social Security numbers — on millions of Americans not in DHS databases.

Besides my eyes glazing over every time the trio were on screen (and the palpable discomfort of the last scene when Buffy leaves to go see Angel), this was actually a much better episode than I remember it

This scene with Buffy and Spike ended me. Y’all. They’re FRIENDS

And of course the scene in the kitchen with Giles and Willow is soooo intense but riveting

“Flooded” is such a stressful episode

Buffy feels like she can tell the truth to spike at least in part because of his stature as an Other in relation to the main Scoobies (as well as his existence as a vampire)

Awwww the way Dawn and Spike are both so overprotective of Buffy now that they have her back….

This episode is honestly really scary

(In large part because that comparison is predicated on Willow assuming she saved Buffy from hell, which of course didn’t happen)
