These are the fuel control switches on a 787. No different than the 777 757 767… they have to be lifted over a little gate to change position - it’s not something that a trained pilot can accidentally do… they move up to “RUN” for start, and cutoff for shut down.

Chinese airlines operate far more Boeing commercial aircraft than Airbus. According to the 2024+ market outlook they were also set to double their Boeing fleet by 2043.. trump definitely f’ing this up big time. Huge opportunity for Airbus.
