I don’t think it’s even accurate to describe KILL LIST as “folk horror.” Wouldn’t honestly know how to categorize it as anything but “extremely fucked up” — a little bit like DON‘T LOOK NOW but somehow even more brutal.

Revisiting Ben Wheatley’s folk horror masterpiece KILL LIST: a movie I find so upsetting that it almost makes me wonder why I put myself through it. 🫣
