I understand it would be a good idea to first master my English.

But... I'm like Buridan's donkey between Spanish and French

I really love my city, I do. But it takes my soul, my heart… my everything. It’s not as toxic as big Moscow, not as calm as Moscow inside the Boulevard Ring, and not as sunny, funny, and lovely as Sochi in the 2000s. My city… it swallows you whole.

Love is not the same anymore?

It's one thing to express a thought in an oral dialogue, and quite another on paper.

I saw the news here that in a couple of years schools will teach using textbooks written by employees of the Physics and Technology University. It looks like pedagogical universities are out of luck again.

Sure, I renew them now and then, but… well, either I’m extra careful or… they just knew how to sew in the 70s-80s :)

There are three things that really stick with me. My dad’s Hawaiian shirt. It’s been with me for 15 years! A teenage fur coat without sleeves—my dad’s too. Oh, and silver spoons from my great-great-grandmother (on one there’s a tooth mark… by my grandfather). I wonder how these old things affect us…

This year, I hope, I can put my own life first. And I’ll pay more attention to my English skills and write some scientific articles and essays about physics education.

It’s tricky - I feel more free while I use the foreign language 🙄

Dunno about you, but as for me… starting a new scholar and work year is hard this year.
Vacation wasn’t so wonderful as I planned. Mental health is extremely exhausted, but I lost some kilos. LoL

I think my fatigue is caused by tension in politics and home situations.
