My last journey with FIFA/FC lasted about two years and really had my fuming by the end.

It’s super easy. Follow the instructions on the board and that’s basically it. You can push the boat out a little with status effects but we ignored them at the start to just get the feel for it.

Yeah I definitely have characters I prefer but it really is all about synergy. Without it it just ain’t gonna work. The library of cards is so diverse now that there’s always loads and loads of choice.

That being said putting yourself where you’re making a hobby you enjoy be your primary source of income could suck the fun out of it, which I wouldn’t want for either of you.
