01.08.2025 19:10 — 👍 372 🔁 166 💬 26 📌 35Obvious point this, but people need to stop believing what they are told by Farage, GB News, and the general declinist and alarmist media narrative and start paying attention to what is really going on regarding crime in this country.
The BBC and mainstream media have a duty to get the truth out.
Labour are the Party who're putting right the years of Tory corruption & incompetence that created the mess they inherited. Labour didn't create that situation, the Tories did. If you’re someone who doesn't get that, then I suspect you probably don't get much of anything, really.

I will never not understand how a minority of people have decided that wind farms - significantly prettier than pylons, coal power plants, nuclear power plants, and almost certainly fusion power plants - are ugly. In terms of energy generation, what else are you hoping for that is better?

Right, the BBC’s platforming of Farage is getting completely out of hand. On the left, the 4 stories mentioning Ed Davey on the BBC News app since April 1st. On the right, some of the 40+ stories about Nigel Farage in the same period.

When you hear ‘Labour are just more Tory’. Remind them of these:
- Family Hubs
- Renters Rights
- Workers Rights
- Nationalising rail
- investment in buses/trams
- Nationalising Steel
- Greatest investment in NHS
True Labour priorities
Under Labour there have been 4.2 million additional appointments in the NHS since July last year.
That’s double the target, and 100,000 more appointments a week than the Tories were doing.
And waiting lists are down by almost a quarter of a million, the lowest level in two years. Not bad eh ?
Sure Start is coming back.
The Labour government is to open 1000 Best Start Family Hubs covering every local authority. The first will be in place by April 2026 & all by 2028.
They will combine existing Family Hubs & the Start for Life programme & also cover areas without these services.

These are extremely serious allegations which expose - once again - my concerns about the last government’s use of money during the pandemic and the need for far greater supervision around MPs’ outside interests.

It’s been one year.
One.
The sheer scale of the economic disaster and utterly destroyed EU relationship inherited by Labour is impossible to underestimate.
That was NEVER going to be fixed in one year.
Difficult decisions are being made.
Ends
One year ago today, on 4th July, we went to the polls.
We ended the disaster that 14 years of Tory rule had brought on us.
Steadily, things are improving.
You don't have to like EVERYTHING the Labour government does, but they are doing SO MUCH to improve our country.
And I am grateful for that!
