The club at which I work has a bot ejector. My home security stays busy ejecting random strangers I assume are bots. I'm still not sure why the bots even exist; what's the gain for them, or their creators? Step 1: Make a bot. Step 2: ? Step 3: Profit! It's Step 2 that confuses me.

I just caught myself saying goodbye to a book. Because I realized that, given the current situation in the US, I might soon need to leave home in a hurry or be dragged from it unexpectedly. Alarmist? Maybe. But it's in the back of my mind now. #fears #Trump

I'm a vampire in Second Life. As such, I constantly struggle with modern idioms, complain about issues with my BetaMax VCR, and bemoan my lack of any telegrams from friends. It's fun!

My new morning routine:

1) Don crash helmet.
2) Administer mild sedative.
3) Check the latest headlines.
4) Play 'Life During Wartime' by the Talking Heads until the shaking subsides.
5) Resume work on survival bunker.

They heard the thinly-veiled dog whistles and wagged their tails. They saw the potential for cruelty towards the Other, and they wagged all the way to the voting booth. There, they voted for cheap eggs and internment camps. In a cynical mood this morning.

To me, it means I need to create the kind of fun I'd like to have. So I've learned to build, to script (a little), to design, and to try things that I'm afraid to tackle. It's been wonderful!
