Literally came here to type a similar comment. It’s something I’ve noticed in corporate leadership that I guess is prevalent everywhere. People are very good at stringing together a bunch of jargonistic words to create a sentence that sounds logical if you aren’t paying close attention.

I’d also say that after a decade of doing health equity work, I have experienced way more people complaining about policing of language than actual people policing language. It happens, and it’s annoying, and it’s rare.

Easiest way to be a hero? Act kind and decent to people who you might never receive anything back from. Be a good person without it being part of a transaction. That’s literally all we need to do as men. Sorry that the 5 year old child fantasy of being Superman won’t come true.
