03.12.2025 23:16 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0We now have an unprecedented level of income & wealth inequality.
It isnโt acceptable that the top 1% owns more wealth than the bottom 93%, while a majority of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.
We must stand together & create an economy that works for all, not just the few.
And all this late game BS on healthcare (delaying or not renewing enhanced ACA premium tax credits) will further send the middle class into a death spiral. Buckle up for dismal consumer spending in Q4.

19.11.2025 12:58 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Health insurance costs jumped for workers & employers in 2025.
This will get worse if the GOP refuses to extend ACA subsidies.
Meanwhile, the seven largest health insurance companies made a combined $71B in profits in 2024.
Still not sure we need Medicare for All?
BS. theyโve had all year and open enrollment starts Nov 1.

21.10.2025 13:21 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A tweet by Robert Reich reads: โThe 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion. The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion. Read that back. When 400 people control more wealth than half a countryโs population, we have a very serious problem.โ
Yes, we indeed have a serious problem.

Millions on Medicaid will lose coverage. Millions on ACA plans could see premiums rise by as much as 75%.
Every lie they tell about a shutdown is meant to cover this up.
way more than that! ours will go from $700 /mo to $3,000 /mo.

She was paying $479 a month for her ACA health insurance.
Next year she will be paying *$2,800* a month for the same plan.
And it's all because Republicans decided to end ACA subsidies.
Expect to hear stories like this all across the country very soon.

The top 1% now owns more than $54 trillion in wealth.
Thatโs 468 times more than the bottom 50%.
One man โ Elon Musk โ owns more than the bottom half COMBINED.
This is what I mean when I talk about oligarchy.

01.07.2025 21:03 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The Big, Beautiful Bill throws 16 million off health care & decimates our already broken system. I have an amendment to do the opposite.
We EXPAND Medicare to cover dental, hearing & vision & pay for it by cutting prescription drug prices in half. Will any Republican support it?
This 940-page reconciliation bill has a list of horrific provisions. One of the worst is a $211 billion tax break to the top 0.2% who inherit $30 million.
In this bill 16 million lose health care & hungry kids lose nutrition. Meanwhile, billionaires get much richer. Disgusting.
We must not throw 16 million low-income and working class Americans off of the health care they have in order to give massive tax breaks to billionaires.
That is obscene.
Good morning.
If the Republican budget bill passes:
- 40% of the country will lose money
- 15 million people will lose their health care
- the richest families will get a $270,000 tax cut
- the debt will go up 2.4 TRILLION dollars
Who is asking for that??
If the law passes, new paperwork requirements and other logistical hurdles could lead to millions of people on ACA plans becoming uninsured, according to Congressional Budget Office.
