Today's the first day of school for us. May or finally be the year with no school shootings in our seemingly cursed country. My girls think their playground is fenced in to keep dogs out from pooping on ground. I don't feel like explaining the real reason. Though avoiding shit is definitely one.

Today was full of the gamut of emotions. Duck derby at the pool with my family, a memorial service for a young mother and amazing human, cpb closing, and library and groceries.

So no, this tired neurospicy queer agnostic disabled mom with no degree will not be running for school board, city council, or other office but I will continue to work with youth leadership and community enrichment and spend money on good orgs

And ideally more involved individual communities and mutual aid with affinity groups and destruction of the billionaire class. We cannot win against the masters by playing by their rules and using their tools. Leadership isn't being a boss, it's guiding us all to safety, health, fulfillment, and joy

Every time I go to a political event or talk to folks who know me when I'm fired up, they suggest I run for office. The thing is, I'm NOT a Democrat and electoralism isn't the end-all be-all. Yes vote, of course, but the systems are broken from the foundations. We need at least a ranked choice first
