Yes, we do. We had planned to finish the day around 11pm, the speaker before me finished at 11.20pm & I had to start my speech then. I tried to adjourn debate at 12.30pm, for the sake of staff & because I was not able to be at my best. My move to adjourn was defeated by others & I had to keep going

Families to receive apology for museum's 'offensive' body part collection The Tasmanian government will apologise for the past practice of retaining body parts after autopsies without the knowledge or consent of family members.

I thank the Attorney-General for taking on board feedback I & others have raised on behalf of many hurt, angry & bewildered Tasmanians impacted by this shocking situation. The commitment to a formal apology is an important one.
