My dad passed away somewhat suddenly on Jan 1st. I’m really feeling this panic.

Yes, coming to terms w/ grief takes time. But few people realize that the passing of time after a loss can itself feel panicky to survivors. We don't want to lose any more of our person or pet than we already have-- but we can't stop time from carrying us further away from them.
