That's so dumb because it's acknowledging what was seen as ok in the past but is no longer accepted. So much of old animations do play on racial things (Bugs Bunny doing black face for one merrie melodies cartoon). These disclaimers need to be kept bc stuff like that still isn't ok.

I watched Late Night With The Devil during my time in Mexico and it hit my love of analog, broadcast, old paranormal SO HARD. I cannot recommend that film enough but even the posters make me go crazy.

Maybe I'm also viewing it with rose colored glasses too lol but the story was refreshing to me too

I did, in a younger grade (can't remember which but 100% elementary school for only one grade level). AZ. This was shortly before 2000's but my middle or high school never required my work in cursive. We were focused more on type on computers.

I feel like at that points the parents gotta take over? If you as an educator have done everything you can, then the parents have to pick up the slack on why their child isn't performing.

(I'm also not an educator but work along side them. This isn't shocking to read for me :( )
