It's NYC, she could have greased the right palms if she wanted to bring plutonium into a dining establishment, but this is -fiction-, after all. n.n

Well, I mean. We know how that conflict resolves itself, don't we? <3

I had a lot of difficulty juggling a conversation with three (sometimes four) participants and not having it getting overloaded with identifiers; my usual M.O. is to let the speaker identify themselves through context. The atypical pronouns were a bonus challenge. :)

"Oh, yes! Sometimes I forget."

And yes, it's very talky and there were parts of the dialogue that I felt could benefit from more character action, but the story was so long already... ideally I should be trimming stuff!

It is what it sounds like, given that I had her phrase it in that way, but I'm unsure how seriously Broadmoore means it; she's having more nuanced ideas at this point in her history.

The one about the chair? That was inspired by a friend's remark, which also refreshed my understanding that she's a giant in a normal-sized environment. If it's the final line of the story, yes, it definitely has a double meaning. n.n

Okay, I definitely thought, "so you've put in an unmistakably funny line" when that came out of the keyboard. I didn't think much more about it. But there's a lot of heavy psychological examination before it, so maybe it needed a corner rounded off at this point. :)

(also her hypnotic effect REALLY is impressive once it gets going!)
