okay the new worst part about all of the back things going on with me is that I can’t go drive to see my grandparents. my grandma also can’t drive. my other grandparents are very housebound and my grandpa is now only driving when necessary. I miss them :((

the worst part about being chronically ill but also having a condition where you get injured easily is when you’re having a good pain day & then all of a sudden BAM injury.

I made the mistake of saying that I was feeling ok out loud this morning and then hours later ended up injuring my back again.

The funny thing is TikTok isn’t even fully back & yet they did All That for Trump. It’s not on the App Store, it’s just not shut down in the US. Which was one of the outcomes before Trump even said anything. They can’t run updates & people can’t do things like get new phones if they want to use it.

I find it so funny that tiktok did All That around praising Trump when it’s still off the app store a week after his inauguration.

I’d be more indifferent about the tiktok ban if it was only about banning tiktok. the law that passed gives the president the ability to ban social media if it’s deemed “foreign adversary controlled.” which is a scary precedent to set with a president known for making things up coming into office.

tbf, his new “role” needs to be approved by congress. also what trump wants in creating his role, is to create government efficiency… but that’s the whole point of reorganization to GET that department. he’s saying restructuring will be useless, but do it anyways?? flawless logic by trump as always.

the president *can* make new departments if it passes in the house. but the whole point of reorganization of departments & creating new ones is for… government efficiency. so trump is saying that he needs a new department because reorganization won’t work but please let him reorganize anyways.
