Hello, I am now part of David Van Day's Commodore. The other faction is now known as The 'Dore, due to our cease & desist letters.

I've just bought the branding rights of Commodore for Rutland and West Northamptonshire. And still got change from the fiver.

Yeah, I'm hopping on that Andy Byron/Coldplay kiss-cam bandwagon. I know, I know. How hack of me. Anyway, this depicts me canoodling with a Commodore 64, then I notice the kiss cam (you know, just like in that viral video) and I then duck and try to hide. And that's a Photoshopped Commodore 64, I don't actually own one, so this never actually happened anyway. I have standards.

Plus, it has tens of thousands of preloaded games. You can't really whinge if a few don't work.

But wow, the hectoring whining in that article was beyond pathetic.

Anyway, I'm off to play Bloggo's POW! with my thumbs.

I had to tinker to get a few games working. The fact that the preloaded arcade Golden Axe didn't work was the biggest disappointment, but I sorted it with a working file. A few others needed that treatment.
About 95% of the games I tried, work.
And remember, it's at the £40 mark.

I bought a couple of R36S units earlier this year.
I know that not every game will work.
I know that the microSD card will be dog-food grade.
I know the ROM organisation won't be optimal.
But for just forty quid? I have no regrets whatsoever. Great fun.

An alert to all creatives using #WeTransfer. Basically, stop immediately! As of August, they will begin scraping everything you send for AI purposes (see the new paragraph in their Terms and Conditions below).

If, like me, you’re a voice artist, they’ll clone your voice. Avoid at all costs.

Stop using WeTransfer - especially for anything work-for-hire or covered by NDA.

It's simple to make a 128K version of any 48K Spectrum game. Save this program on a tape, then record the 48K game after it, it's technically 128K only!
