Junior high and high school students participate in a summer geography workshop at the University of Tokyo’s Kashiwa Campus. The students are seen working in groups with laptops and large maps, analyzing landforms and disaster information using the latest digital mapping technologies. Some are drawing on maps, while others collaborate around computers, reflecting the program’s hands-on, interactive approach to learning.
