Die dreigeteilte Gliederung in die Tagebücher des "Finders" von 1848, die ist-Zeit des Roman um 1868, zur Zeit der Vorbereitung des 1. vatikanischen Konzils und der Unruhen die das erzeugt, sowie kurze Zeitungsausschnitte aus dieser Zeit machen es sehr interessant.

Lese nach langer Zeit nochmal "Die Truhen des Arcimboldo". Ziemlich dickes Buch, bin aber schon 2/3 durch.
17 Auflage von 2002.
