It still breaks my heart that Chief was so young. It just wasn’t fair.

Omigod his ears. I swear they were a work of art. My son said if he wasn’t terrified of needles he would get Chief’s ears as a tattoo 💗

Definitely a new experience

We get them occasionally in NJ but ones you feel are few & far between…except the last 2-3 years there’s been some that were quite noticeable. The ground is very different here than the west coast so they’re a whole other experience from what I understand. The loud BOOM is the most disconcerting.

If it was an earthquake it was faint…not as bad as earlier this year. It’s a weird rolling rumbling noise, like a BIG dump truck went by…but there’s no truck. This wasn’t the loud boom we’ve heard like the last few (sounded like a truck hit the house last time) but it had that same sound to it 🤷‍♀️

We amused ourselves a lot with that one

I had 2 whole scrambled eggs w/goat cheese late this morning so I napped first this afternoon and then had some chicken salad on warm naan bread and a yogurt.
Have to eat now while my appetite is good before treatment next week.
