For all of his “Art of the Deal” bloviating, it’s remarkable how bad at it he actually is.

Hot take: I actually don’t miss the bass that much on this album, I like how it changes the guitar tone and brings it more to the forefront (it was still a crappy thing to do to their bassist).

I don’t really care about the Billboard charts but, uh, 1989 was a pretty incredible year if you like alternative rock.

It was a pretty landmark year for alternative rock, which of course wasn’t reflected in the pop charts. People place way too much emphasis on the Billboard charts and haven’t spent enough time going back and looking at how much random junk is on there for any given year.

Well, this just made Thanksgiving with my Nebraska family significantly less awkward.

I truly don’t understand how things have gone downhill so quickly.

Unfortunately telling boring and unfuckable dudes that actually everyone is wrong and THEY’RE the master race is a lucrative business.

Actually, this makes a lot of sense.

I’ve only seen analysis of the report by others, but it seems like yet another “Dems would be more successful if they were just Republicans” rant that’s light on actual data but supported by a bunch of consultants, most of whom are at least a decade removed from their last significant electoral win.

This was literally exactly what I thought, though to be fair he never got his hands on a second football team, so he only tanked Michigan and Toys “R” Us.

But only after he loses to UCLA, because jumping ship the morning after losing another big rivalry game would be an amazing commitment to the bit.

Both NIU teams are not great, but we just kind of adopted the women’s team as our hobby, so they’re the basketball team (also, they used to have a player named Brooke Stonebreaker, which is objectively one of the best sports names I have ever heard).

When we go to basketball games my wife and I have taken to referring to the NIU men’s team as the “Gentlemen Huskies.”

He’s about to go full Lazio falconer on their asses (minus the fake dong).
