Yeah, I don't follow people if I can't tell anything about them. Basic social hygiene.

Yes, I am that type nerd who: 1. Buys the postcards depicting vintage type specimens 2. Stares at these (pictured) connecting word logotypes for many minutes 3. Feels a sense of peace and joy from this. The pictured postcard shows ornate treatments in the Victorian style (circa 1888) of the words "and" "to" and "of the", these stand alone as little pictures useful to add visual interest to a page of advertising typography. What is ironic is that these words are probably the least important to their messages, but they deserve and support this much attention. This joyful expression was later scorned by schools of modernist typography of the "crystal goblet" school, this cutting off a history of fun.

I am autistic and this is my special interest. (I put lots in the alt field as I often do)

What is going on, why the Etsy grab? You could jump over to Clued. Very rudimentary right now but mostly free.

A hand holds a mostly black matte finish vinyl sticker that has type in gray and red Victorian ornate style types with ornate scroll ornamentation (tastefully done!). The sticker is a rectangle with rounded corners. The sticker says: The Amalgamated Society of Fanatics for Nuance (big type); established 2024 in Washington DC (smaller in Victorian style abbreviations); founded by the Female Power Project (smaller line at the bottom). Stickers cost $5 and $4 each if you buy three or more.

I make stickers, too. This is one of six designs in my Nuance Variations series. All are on shirts (or will be soon) and some are on stickers. For now only available at the Female Power Outlet at Black Lab, Open Friday 2-6 and Saturday 10-4 716 Monroe St NE Studio 16 Washington DC.

Everyone should read her book Paradise which is my favorite. This portrait lives in the National Portrait Gallery in Washington DC. I go back regularly to look at this painting and think about this great writer.

By executive order, the sun orbits the earth.

The set of nine 1.25 inch diameter round magnets are boxed like chocolates. You can see the magnets through the clear window in the top of the box. The label says Power Words Magnets. The box is tied with a red grosgrain ribbon

The picture shows the box without the top. These are the messages printed on the different color magnets: Stay Strong Difficult Fear Less Take Credit Not Wrong Not Sorry Be Brave Take Up Space Be Inconvenient

The picture shows three of the magnets in my pink splotchy hand, to give a sense of scale. The magnets have a velvet matte finish that is fun to touch.

This picture shows all nine magnets sticking to the front of my refrigerator. I tried to clean the metal surface of my fridge but annoyingly my steel cleaning cloths had dried out. So I had to remove some blotches in Photoshop. I know my life is not as difficult as most people's.
