See also UAL, when they went to lowercase Helvetica, black on a white background. I agree, it doesn't have to be wild colours etc but at least put SOME effort in.

Still think the most low effort in this was Bradford & Ilkley Community College (where I did my Art degree) rebranding to Bradford College. The logo revamp? They just took '& Ilkley Community' out. Same font/colours. Cost upwards of £100k IIRC.
