That being said, people CAN and DO bring their own subjectivity to what they see. But I think the subjectivity barrier is one that will prevent current AI models from consuming our whole lives.

Or at least, I hope so 😬

My theory comes from "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance", where Robert Pirsig proposed the idea that Quality is a meeting of the subjective and objective.

This "AI" isn't actually intelligent--it has no subjective experience--and that's why it usually feels like something is missing.

Weed, best case scenario: you're able to self medicated a variety of things
Worst case: you waste your life away

Gambling, best case: you make money (this is rare)
Worst: a gambling addiction takes hold and you lose everything while saying things like "99% of gamblers quit before they make it big"
