In July 2025, we asked confirmation from Exeter Labour they wouldn't cancel the 2026 local elections. They said they wouldn't.

Now the Labour Govt has scandalously decided to invite 60 councils (including Exeter) to cancel their elections this May, we hope Exeter Labour won't go back on their word.

Fantastic result in Seaton, which makes it 13/13 wins for Lib Dems in Devon by-elections since last May's local elections!

Positive step county are trialling filling in all potholes in a spot reported not just the worst ones. Should be more efficient & less troublesome! I'd suggest extending this trial county-wide asap.

Exeter is for Everyone event counters anti-migrant city centre march - Exeter Observer 1,200-1,500 people participate in hope and unity march, outnumbering British Unity nationalists by more than ten to one as significant police presence maintains order except for few minor clashes.

Donald Trump will, no doubt, spend the coming months and years undoing Biden's reforms.
