This doesn't need to happen. Not only do we know how to prevent these deaths, it's actually cost-effective to do it. So we have to assume it's because someone benefits from letting this happen.

It is insane to me that the government can find money to pay ICE agents increasingly larger sums of money, yet teachers have to buy their own pencils.

Ask yourselves why men in power would want our children to die of preventable diseases. Who benefits? And should we look the other way when the rules are different for themselves and their own children?

Worth a read. Giving children stories shouldn't be controversial.

A Pregnant Texas Teen Died Under Texas’ Fetal Heartbeat Law It took three ER visits before a hospital admitted pregnant teen Nevaeh Crain, one of at least two Texas women to die under the state’s abortion ban.
