More news on that later, as I want to iron it out a bit more before I get into it.
06.06.2025 18:49 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Hey everyone, update time!
I'm slowly getting out of my burnout, so progress on Tamers is speeding up!
Alpha Playtest 2 is available on the Discord for those that want to see Tamers in action.
(Not in the PT)
I've overhauled the elemental system. Streamlined based on my experience running it.
Sorry to hear you're going through this.
I wish you the best. Stay strong.
I've finally got the next 2.0 playtest for my Tamers TTRPG lined up!
Gonna be doing a private playtest first before I make it public over on the Tamers Discord!
Oh my god, those are amazing! XD

Hope your mental health makes a comeback.
Thanks for all you've done and continue to do, real good shit man.
They were kind of getting somewhere with Demons.
"Oh a Demon, probably shouldn't cast fire magic."
But there really aren't any other wide selections of monsters that are resistant to cold, lightning, acid, and so on.
So you have Fire & Poison as the two main 'system interacters', so why use them?
I think it's a matter of implementation.
If it's a core aspect of your gameplay where it interacts with everything, both players and enemies, then it can add a lot of strategy to the game.
5e does an awful job. The system doesn't interact with the players, and only a selection of monsters.
I really enjoy these dice I got as a gift, nothing too crazy, but I really dig them.
Haven't had a chance to use them yet though.
Congrats!

Now I want to watch Mob Psycho again. Great work.

I'm someone who actually enjoys the minutiae of balancing.
That being said, it's great and all to have [3 spike pits, dealing 1d6 damage each, if a player fails all 3, they'll still have enough HP to make it through the dungeon].
But BEFORE that, WHY are there spike pits,WHO made them, etc.
youโve been kidnapped. the characters in the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you.
Yeah, I think I'm safe. Lol
Apparently 2025 is the beginning of Generation "Beta"...
It'll be interesting to see how the inevitable generational hate pans out with this one, given the unfortunate baggage that word comes with. Lol
Welcome to the club, lol.
I'd personally keep an eye out for Lactose free items.
At least here in Canada is seems like they are getting more and more common.
Lactose free cheeses, ice cream and even milk are all out there.
You can even take Lactace tablets to help as well when you're out to eat.

If that sounds interesting give me a follow to stay up to date.

This was basically me in 2024 too.
I hope I can do better in 2025.
Thanks for the extra insight.
30.12.2024 22:17 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Not sure you can get them there, since I believe they are mainly sold in the western provinces, but if you can find them get Old Dutch brand Ketchup chips.
Those are THE ketchup chip imo, anyone who tells you to try Lays brand ketchup chips are setting you up for mediocrity.
For TTRPG designers who have made playtest packages.
So I'm coming out with a large revamp to my system and am doing a V2 playtest.
My dilemma is; do I use the same mini-adventure I wrote for the last play test, or write a new one?
Do you think people will care about doing the same one again?
"Tonight's oneshot will be The Evil atop the Mountain."
"Harhar, what if we all just, like, went away from the mountain."
"Ok, thanks for coming to tonight's session, see you all next week"
"Uh, wait... actually..."

I feel having a section in your TTRPG source book called "How to Play [Your TTRPG Here]" covers both bases.
Imo, these sections are also important for people (both players and GMs) to get an overview of what they are getting into, so they can more easily digest the rest of the book.
I feel called out.
