And I would point out the ongoing paradox here: we respect the process by we will trample on the process because we didn't get the result we demanded. That isn't bargaining or respecting the process.

In introducing Bill 2 he is brutally honest. We negotiated, we didn't get the result we wanted, so we're ending this process and imposing a draconian agreement that has previously been democratically rejected by union membership.

I encourage Albertans and everyone really who is interested in labour relations to read the legislative debate on Bill 2. And read closely the words of Nate Horner, who is the Finance Minister.
