San Diego FC charm their soccer-loving city: At first, Paul Brown was hesitant about San Diego FC.

As @michaelarace1.bsky.social reported, Wilfried Nancy took pains to leave Columbus @ the end of MLS's season, not summer, so as not to leave the Crew in the lurch.

It's admirable. But it makes installing his intricate game model in midseason @ a 'big club' already under heavy pressure MUCH harder.

A true legend, and a good guy too. Has forgotten more about soccer than most of us will ever know, but you'd never know it by the way he treats people.

Vancouver and the Whitecaps have signed an MOU to enter an exclusive negotiation period through 2026 to explore a stadium and entertainment district at Hastings Park.

City would own the stadium and offer a fair lease to #VWFC.

I might amend that with a 'yet.' Perceptions could evolve if Egypt are stylish and/or successful come summer. But yes, in general he's not a value proposition for MLS sides, not yet, in terms of commercial ROI
