Even when the world feels bleak, it is a huge comfort to walk into a venue, hear your friends playing for their lives and to see them afterward, satisfied that they were able to create and share. Every day I have Chicago to thank for this in one way or another and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I find it very interesting that JB Pritzker (with whom I disagree on many things) actually did way more substantive stuff to combat Trump and still gets less credit than Newsom because Newsom posted some tweets
