I've found alt-text to be pretty useful even as someone with normal sight. It tends to give me a bit more context on an image and an idea on what to focus on. It's also pretty useful when it describes something I'm unfamiliar with so I can google it.

So Clonezilla works fine it just happened that there was a broken package in the EOS update that coincided with me cloning to a new drive causing much confusion for me.

Cloned my ssd to the new one. Worked fine. Swap was taking 140 some gigs but otherwise fine. Updated my system and all hell broke loose. Thought the drive was borked. Trued reinstalling my os for nearly 5 hours. Found out its a broken mesa update. Gotta love Linux.
