I am a former kindergarten teacher. My kindergarten/TK classes started the Kindness Symbol Initiative. The Kindness Symbol has been recognized in many places, including in the US Congressional Record on March 5,2020. Please use the kindness symbol 💕
I was getting a vase for some flowers aTK alumni gave me for helping with some paperwork and I noticed the vase I was using was also from a TK alumni.
These kids have continued to bring me joy.
You never know how little bits of kindness can continue to brighten someone’s day, even years later.

Five years ago the Kindness Symbol was recognized in the Florida House and Senate and added to the Senate Journal.
The kindness symbol started by 5-6 year olds who felt we needed more kindness in the world and started doing something about it!
