When photographing wildlife, I love to capture the more artistic and subtle aspects: Soft afternoon light graces an elephant's beautifully textured face in Namibia's Etosha National Park.⁠

Namibia is not all desert, it's coast line has huge flamingo, pelican & seal populations. So many flamingos, it's difficult to isolate them, but the morning's fog helped, & created a magical mood!

For an all too brief moment, a giraffe is enveloped in a sea of golden light, a short-lived respite from the harsh, arid and unforgiving land it calls home. Somewhere in wonderful Namibia.

An example of the infinite power of light. The rising sun turns an already beautiful scene of red wildebeest grazing in Namibia's Etosha National Park into the purely magical!

Presumably a sign intended to combine no dogs, bikes, smoking, or drinking, but instead becomes the unspoken story of how the coolest anthro-dog got banned from 257 Albert Street in Brisbane, Australia.
